Eternal Tomorrow created the iPhone app PocketScout to help photographers keep track of locations that they have scouted for photo shoots.
PocketScout incorporates location data, GPS functionality, mapping, camera interaction, tagging, local database for storing & sorting of locations as well as emailing location information (and location photos as attachments) all within the app.
